I have long been fascinated by the many ways to dye, embellish, create patterns on textiles as well as other objects. The Japanese Shibori technique has always been something I wanted to experiment with. There seemed endless possibilities in the folding, clamping, binding techniques.
From rubber bands, to clothespins and rocks, wrapping fabric around a pvc pipe and just simple folds left the most amazing results. Each item was a wonderful surprise to me. Making a total mess was well worth it. I loved teaching myself how to do this! ENJOY!
